He departed this life Jany 1st 1778. The Presbyterian Revd Charles McKnight preached against the British during the Revolution. His church in Middletown Point, New Jersey was burned by British soldiers and he was taken prisoner to New York. He died a prisoner in 1778. He is the father of Dr. Charles McKnight two plots to the left.
